DESIGN.md for Claude Code

Use DESIGN.md as persistent visual context for Claude Code implementation work.

Pair with repo rules

Use AGENTS.md for engineering constraints and DESIGN.md for visual constraints. Claude Code can then reason about both system behavior and product feel.

What to include

Document tokens, density, states, page patterns, layout constraints, icons, and copy tone. Include examples of what not to do.

Review loop

After a UI change, compare screenshots against DESIGN.md and update whichever side is wrong: the implementation or the spec.
